I asked to see an older Acura up front and asked about it's timing and serpentine belt replacement receipts or anything that would prove the required services had been performed. On certain Honda's... like this with over 100k miles, the timing belt is no joke as it's a major job that prevents the engine from self destruction. The salesperson said yes and just pointed to an arbitrary blue and white sticker that can be summed up as "We checked everything yup, we promise!" No timeline or mileage in which it was done. Very helpful.On the road, the car's steering was incredibly loose turning right, but tight when turning left. Also, the AC was quite weak. But muh blue sticker right? I also played dumb and asked if the vehicle was AWD. They said yes. It is not AWD. They also got noticeably worried and became far less talkative after I brought out my code reader. I figured that's worth mentioning. After looking at their Yelp reviews and seeing others bringing up their botched repairs, shady practices, not to mention, the owner literally guilt tripping their customers in replies, I would NOT recommend buying a vehicle here.read more

Bought a car 5 months ago. Had to take the cargo cover out to fit the salesman and my kids during a test drive. They put it in the back of another vehicle that was there. I purchased the car the... following day, and when it was time to drive away I was informed the vehicle they put the cargo cover in was in the shop. Told me to come back in a week for it. I did. It was still in the shop. Came back again and they stated the vehicle came back from the shop but it didn't have the cargo cover in it apparantly. I stopped in 3 more times over the course of a month and spoke to multiple people who all said they'd call me back when it was found or had a resolution. Here we are and nothing. 🤷♀️ calling is useless because no one answers the phones. Tired of the run around.read more
This place was truly a one of a kind experience from a car lot! They value your input with the vehicle and will hear you out! They actually attempt to make it work for your needs. I fully inspect... vehicles before my purchase and Jason supported and had compliments for me doing so! The 45 minutes it took just for me to look it over before test drive and he is complementing me! I’ve had salesman get frustrated, want to move on to the next person who arrives, or “get back” to me, nope he was there every step of the way! Knowing we had a vacation the next day he took every step he could take for the process to get done asap! It took me longer to decide to buy it, then it did to buy it lol… I have nothing but respect for this business! I would recommend them to anyone! Had a great experience on my first visit when I sold them my car a few months ago. I came in today to purchase a vehicle, I was greeted by a black guy with dreads. I told him what I’m looking for and... showed me a truck that only matched one of my four criterias, I went to go for a test drive and and the salesman didn’t not offer my mother the front seat. That was enough to walk away.read more

Went to check out Northtown while my mom was in town to check out their trucks they had listed. She drove a GMC and let them know that she said she felt as though the transmission may have been... slipping. She had test driven another GMC from a dealership and said that they did drive similar. When she brought this to their attention, it felt as though they were trying to tell her she didn’t know what she was talking about because they had just gotten it to the lot and someone’s brother had just driven it. They also said it may had been because she had been used to driving a turbo. The main issue came when the time came to talk numbers. Johnny was friendly but became pushy when she told him she wanted to sleep on it before making a decision. She even stated that she understood her request may not be a possibility, but that’s what would have gotten her out the door. She told him multiple times no and that she wanted to sleep on it. He kept knocking down the price and even said “I’m not sure I’m even able or allowed to do this,” for the price he was offering. I feel as though if you’re not sure if you’re “allowed” to offer the number, don’t write it down if you can’t guarantee it. I understand he was trying to make a sale, but it did not feel like he cared about anything else. I would suggest maybe some additional training on customer service skills and reading a social que. All around everyone was friendly, but I won’t be returning to purchase a vehicle. Not a very comfortable experience.read more
